How to Get Started  

 

To start using A Safe Spot’s My Belongings, you must enroll and become a member.  Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed, if you are not happy with the service within the first 30 days, just email us at support@aSafeSpot.com and we will gladly refund your money!

The enrollment process will take you through four screens:

1. Enter your name, email address and promo code (if applicable).
2.  Review the Terms of Use and the billing amount.
3. Enter your billing address and credit card information.  This information is stored in an highly secure encrypted format and complete secure!
4.  A summary screen will appear awaiting your confirmation.


Once you have enrolled, an email will be sent to you with your login ID and password information.  You'll than access www.aSafeSpot.com and enter this information to login and start using A Safe Spot.


A Safe Spot offers several options to help our members understand how to enter, maintain and produce reports.

Tour - Take the tour to become familiar with the overall functionality of My Belongings.  The tour can be accessed from the www.aSafeSpot.com web site or by directly clicking on this link: www.aSafeSpot.com/tour.html.

Online Help -  Once you login to A Safe Spot you will have access to the online help.  From any screen, you can select the Help Button which is located on the upper right hand corner of each screen.  The help screens are divided into several categories:

 - What is? - Describes the current screen you're at and its purpose. 

 - How Do I..? - Are a series of questions that relate to the current screen.  When you click on the question, screens will walk you through how to perform the task.  For example:  How Do I enter a Belonging?.

 - Moving..- Is used to assist you with navigating through A Safe Spot's Online Home Inventory. 

 - Help Index - Is a list of all items including the How Do I.? and terminology definitions.

Quick Start - Once you login to A Safe Spot, you will be presented with the Information Center Summary Screen.  From the screen you can select the quick start guide which will walk you through the steps in setting up your inventory if you are using a digital camera, scanner or neither.
